Mid Day Chicken Treat

I was looking around near the fruit trees and got buzzed by something.  When I was searching to see what it was I saw a leaf footed stink bug.  While I was looking to see if I could reach it I noticed I was being watched by something else.

Big Grasshopper.

I wish the next photo was better, but between opening the container I had caught the grasshopper in (the spikes on their hind legs look much more hazardous when they are this big), and trying to get the camera focused, this was the best I could do.  The two older girls in the middle had already ripped it in two pieces and were running off.  They looked pretty happy after they slurped it up.
