Today's Harvest and Bare Roots

Today's Harvest- Cabbage, lettuce, cauliflower, broccoli, and there are some beets buried in there.
Baby worm!
Our first celery tasted pretty good.

We didn't put that there...

Tomato in the back planter.
Some fruits on the Nectarine tree.

We got our first bare root plants today.  We had ordered some blueberries and they arrived this afternoon!
They came wrapped like this.

Directions said to soak the roots for a while before planting.

After soaking I unwrapped the packing and gently unraveled the roots as much as I could.

I buried them as carefully as I could.

And now we have three pots full of peat and blueberry.
Well, the dormant sticks of the blueberry.
