A Blustery Weekend

The winds of change are blowing.

Seriously, it's been really windy here.  It was supposed to be calmer out today, but the winds continue to blow.  We gave everything a good drink of water this morning to help it take the beating.  I moved the tomatillos into the shed so they get a break.  Everything's budding and sprouting.  Some things seem to double in size overnight.

Hubby found these off the side of one of the planters.
I wish we knew what kind they were and if they were safe to eat.
They look so good!

Potato plateau.

Fennel that might be taking a trip to try and win a ribbon.

Another weapon in the fight against bad bugs.

Beans popped up this week.

The spinach finally took off, must have been worried about the beans taking over.

Best peas EVER!!!

The lettuce is still fighting.

Can you see all of the strawberry blossoms?

The little ones love their new coop.

Particularly the shade they get from the new planter.

Future blackberries.

Happy cucumbers.

The bare root blueberries we got are doing well in their pots.
The fruit trees are doing pretty well.  Some of the leaves are getting holes in them, and we're not sure why.  We don't see any bugs crawling on them.  We'll probably grab a few leaves and head up to the Master Gardeners orchard to see if someone there knows.
